Sculpting an infant's head

I start (as usual) with a sturdy newspaper structure. This time I planned on emptying the head when it was dry enough, so I began with a loose newspaper ball

Slowly, I started adding details: forehead, chin, chicks nose.

Next, I started adding paper mache, working slowly on the features.
